Chamber sponsors Fair events

Military Day July 27
The State Fair will offer special discounts to members of the military with a special military Chamber coupon Tuesday, July 27. The day includes a beef picnic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., discounted gate admission, discounted NPRA Championship Bull Riding admission, and discounted carnival wristbands, as well as free rides from 1 to 3 p.m. for active military, reserve and National Guard members. A military ID must be shown to receive the discounts.

Tuesday also features:
• The Demolition Derby at 7 p.m. (part of the Grandstand Showpass)
• 2-for1 deals throughout the Fairgrounds
• Fox 24 Family Day: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. under the tent in the SRT State Fair Park

Ag Committee serves breakfast July 27
The Chamber’s Agribusiness Committee will serve breakfast to State Fair livestock exhibitors Tuesday, July 27 in the Livestock Expo building. This is an annual event for the group. Committee members get up bright and early to begin serving by 7 a.m. The breakfast includes donuts, juice, milk, and coffee to those displaying their livestock.
